In the metal toolmaking area, the aluminum deep-drawing tools produced in contract milling are appropriately reworked. This work includes the insertion of vacuum holes, according to the available drawing, in the tools, the exact connection of the slot extractors and the completion of the tools for production. The storage and retrieval of the deep-drawing tools is carried out by means of SAP-controlled tool management, in which each tool is assigned to a corresponding storage location, this task area is also one of the tasks of the tool shop.

Tool preparation wood

In the toolmaking area wood, the so-called counter-molds "upper punch" to the aluminum deep-drawing tools are created. This is lovingly handcrafted  from very heat-resistant wood and covered with a special felt. The top stamp ensures an even distribution of material.
