"Traytec" continues to grow

Plastics processor puts new hall into operation / 50 new employees in the past two years.

The new hall on Budapester Straße in Gildehauser Gewerbepark (right) was officially opened on Friday 17.08.2018.

The plastics processor "traytec" from Gildehaus has grown strongly in recent years. Because the hall built in 2013 in the Gildehaus industrial park became too small, the company has expanded. Production now takes place on around 10,000 square meters.

After around a year of construction, the new hall is now ready. With a ceremony on Friday evening, the Gildehaus-based plastics processor "traytec" put the approximately 4500 square meter extension into operation. "We now have a total area of about 10,000 square meters," says managing director Holger Hesselink in an interview with the GN. This means that "traytec" has doubled in size. In addition to the new building on the company's premises on Budapester Straße in Gildehauser Gewerbepark, the office wing has also been rebuilt and new machinery has been purchased. According to Managing Director Hesselink, "traytec" has invested around 5.5 million euros in this project. "Money well invested," as Hesselink says.
